DIX, James Oliver - Putnam

James Oliver Dix, age 62, residing two miles west of Cloverdale with a sister, Mrs. Juanna Truesdale passed away at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening at the residence as a result of cancer. Mr. Dix had been ill for about a year and underwent an operation about two months ago in Indianapolis. The deceased was a life long resident of Putnam County and was born near Cloverdale. His only surviving relative is his sister, Mrs. Truesdale. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
